Leland Crowe Hetland

Leland Crowe Hetland, 15, passed away suddenly on Tuesday January 20, 2026 in Graham, Texas.

Leland was born July 19, 2010 in Powell, Wyoming; son of Skyler Hetland and Laura (Gurrola) Hetland. He was a lifelong resident of Byron, WY until relocating to Texas at the first of the year. He attended Rocky Mountain High School.

Most of Leland’s favorite activities involved the outdoors. He loved swimming, camping, and going on adventures. He also enjoyed sports, including football and basketball. Keeping with the competitive spirit of a teenage boy, Leland also enjoyed playing video games.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Justin Hetland; his maternal grandmother, Elaine Gurrola; and his paternal grandparents, Gene and Edith Hetland.

Survivors include his mother, Laura Hetland (Lorenzo); father, Skyler Hetland (Ashley); sisters, Katalina, Kendall, and Avery; brothers, Braxston and Julian; grandparents; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
