In Loving Memory of Jerry Edwin Kershman 1956-2026. 

Jerry Kershman,70, passed from this life August 18, 2026. He leaves behind a legacy of music, unwavering faith, and unmatched warmth. 

Though he faced many tough health battles Jerry met every challenge with extraordinary courage, grace and an indomitable spirit. Today his family finds peace knowing he is whole once again , walking with Jesus in the Kingdom of Heaven. 

For 32 wonderful years Jerry shared his life with his beloved wife Rena . Theirs was a rare and beautiful devotion-a partnership where, no matter what storms blew their way they stood side by side through it all. Through the best days and hardest trials. Jerry and Rena were each other's anchor. Rena knows Jerry is finally at rest and while he will be sorely missed there will not be a single day that goes by that she does not honor him. His memory and the life they built together deeply deserve to be remembered. 

For many years, Jerry took great pride in working outdoors as co-owner of Dad's day off alongside his business partner and friend Darrell Terry. Jerry and Darrell loved every minute of their landscaping and lawn maintenance work- living by their favorite motto " mow, blow, and go ," bringing bright energy to every yard they touched. 

Jerry was a natural charmer who genuinely never met a stranger turning quick hellos into lifelong friendships. A devout believer, Jerry lived his faith daily through his kindness and generosity. 

Music was the heartbeat of his life - a passion that made his journey along the way a little lighter. Through life's challenges Jerry found deep support and friendship in his counselor, Roy Ohdner. Their shared love for music provided comfort, and strength , and continuous joy to Jerry's days. 

As Jerry looked at his family, his deepest wish was to stay close, lean on one another and never let time pass without saying I Love you. He believed with all his heart that true love isn't just for when life is easy or convenient - it's about enduring the hard times together. He urged his family, especially as time moves on to treasure every moment , hold tight to one another and remember how unconditionally he loved them all. 

Jerry is survived by his devoted wife Rena , his loving family , and countless friends whose lives were made richer by his spirit.

A service with military honors is being planned for a later date at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Details will be posted as soon as they are available.
